Every entrepreneur had, has and will have fears. It’s part of the job. The difference between entrepreneurs lays on the way they decide to confront them. For our speakers at FACE Prague, it requires making a commitment, a public one if you wish. Once you’ve taken that step it’s all about learning, evolving yourself, your team and your ideas. Test yourself, try your limitations and find your own motivation. Social perception and support is important, of course, but rather than rely on the approval of your family and friends you have to rely on your own capabilities.

The FACEr Christian Atz was the most active user in the FACE Entrepreneurship community in the weeks leading up to our event in Prague. He commented on our blog articles and videos, participated in the debates … and was rewarded! He won a free trip to attend the event ‘FACE Prague: Umh, I have something to tell you.’ Now, days later and back home in Germany, this entrepreneur shares his experience with us and our FACErs.

In our most recent entrepreneurship event we overcame one of the most important fears entrepreneurs face when starting up: social fears. The dark side of entrepreneurship is that it can be very challenging at an emotional level. That’s how entrepreneur and moderator of the event Vitek Horky started his welcome speech dedicated to the attendees of FACE Prague: ‘Umh! I’ve something to tell you’. Does it sound discouraging? Not at all because fortunately there is a silver lining to entrepreneurship; a huge one that we wanted to share and debate in our forth entrepreneurship event in Europe, this time in Prague and focused on social fears on entrepreneurs.
