Their premium product, PapayaPods ProManagement, offers a set of tools that allow property owners or operators to find tenants and to handle all processes related to rental housing quickly and efficiently, in one place.

What could be more difficult than having an idea and implementing it? Is there anything more complicated than forming a team of talented professionals who are 100% dedicated to your project? Now that you’ve got the funding from an investor, everything should be going smoothly, right? Unfortunately, no. Although many think that the first few months of building a startup are the hardest that’s not actually all true, budding entrepreneur Mircea Patachi gives it to us straight, “The first few months are exciting, but I would expect the same level of demand for the next 5 years.”

Damien Authier is at the point every entrepreneur dreams of: his startup is growing steadily and every day that passes thousands more people are downloading his app Swiper. “We’re close to being profitable,” explains the young French entrepreneur. But it hasn’t been an easy road and of course success is still a ways off, but it is true that all those long hours are paying off. In this installment of Budding Entrepreneurs we ask Damien Authier to take a look back and tell us what he has learned along the way.
