Boosting startups in Poland

Eliza Kruczkowska is in charge of Startup Poland, an initiative whose goal is to be the voice of entrepreneurs in Poland.

As a first time entrepreneur, Kruczkowska recognizes that she made a number of mistakes in the begining, errors such as counting on people who did not fully share her vision for the project. However, this first mistake made her realize what great opportunities the Internet offers to those starting up businesses and how in Europe it’s still unacceptable to talk about failures like hers.

In contrast, the head of Startup Poland, exemplifies the entrepreneurial culture of Silicon Valley, where it’s normal for entrepreneurs to talk openly about their failures and which are considered to be valuable lessons for future business ventures.
