When you don’t fear of failing you are not taking it serious enough or are underestimating the issues. I think our friend Peter Senge has some good words to include if I am right. (remove the silly time limit in this forum…)

It has been a great watch. I thought that it would be to long but completely worth. All great inspirational and motivational talks. I particularly liked the statement about the difference between failure and success is not that someone does not give up and fight another day. Adeo Ressi from Founder Institute uses to say: The only reason for a startup not to succeed is that the founder gives up.

It could be the business model that is wrong also or a bad market fit or bad execution. A lot of things actually. But on the other hand, it is than who the founder should not give up and instead do a pivot. By the way, what is giving up? When you file for bankruptcy or do a pivot or start another company? Maybe real failure is when you go back to a 9-5 job.

I like this though! Let’s not just say that it’s all about the motivation and not giving up. It has to do with seeing the actual opportunity, seeing where your business fits and taking advantage accordingly.
