Do you remember our “Kill the elevator pitch” contest? It all begun with a simple idea: an elevator pitch often puts too much pressure on entrepreneurs and makes investors look like mere sources of money. We believe that investors are much more than that;they have the know-how so that they can give you realistic feedback, share their experiences, contacts and knowledge of the market. Moreover, at FACE Entrepreneurship, we consider that the figure of a mentor is an essential one, especially for first-time founders. So we took a hands-on approach and, in collaboration with Mentoring Spain, weorganized a contest that brought these barriers down: “Kill the elevator pitch”.

Exactly 2 years ago we did a little experiment and for a period of 3 months we tried a 4-day work week, taking off the first Friday of each month. After the trial period, we analyzed the results, taking into account both the positive and negative factors, made some changes and decided to try it out for another 3 months, yet this time increasing the amount of Fridays off from 1 to 2 per month.
