The Entrepreneur’s App of the Week #1 Trello

Trello App

We’re kicking off a new series of entries on FACE Entrepreneurship that aim to make entrepreneurs’ lives easier.  Each week we’re going to show you an application that could give you a hand in your day to day.  And that’s exactly what Trello is about, a web platform with an app that makes it easy to organize our daily tasks.  Shall we take a look?

Entrepreneurs are multi-taskers by definition.  And that means doing a lot of things at the same time and leaving other things pending.  Alarms, post-its and other reminders are normal in our routines.  Have you ever gotten to the point where you just didn’t know how to go on?  What is still on your to-do list?  That can happen when you just have to organize your own tasks, but what about when you manage a whole team?  Overwhelming is the adjective that you’re looking for and the solution can be found in the task manager Trello.

The power of columns

Trello has a simple design behind which all of its potential is hidden. And it’s a lot.  Based on creating different lists or columns, we can organize our pending tasks the best way possible.  Do you have a large team?  Assign a column to each one of your colleagues and note town which projects they’re responsible for.  The possibilities are endless and the simple format adapts to your needs.

What’s more, each note can be personalized to have a checklist, attached documents, deadlines and more.  The greatest part about Trello is that you can have public boards where both you and your team can get organized, see the latest changes and comment on projects.

One of the most interesting things about Trello is its version for mobiles and tablets, which have all of the same potential as the web version, just in a small size.

With that said, if you’re having organizational problems or you want to better manage your teams and projects, try our any of the task managers you can find online or take a look at Trello, then tell us about your experience!
